The mask seen all over Instagram. If you’re like me, you’ve probably seen this blue tube all over your favorite blogger’s feeds, and wondered to yourself, “Is this really worth it?” With so many bloggers and influencers coming out with their own lines and collabs, it can be hard to tell which products to invest your hard earned money in.
Let me back up a little bit, and tell you about this product and brand. Summer Fridays is a new beauty line co-founded by blogger Mariana Hewitt. The Jet Lag Mask is their first product, which has taken the social media world by storm. The mask is paraben free, sulfate free, cruelty free, vegan, has no synthetic dyes or fragrances and is made in the US. It’s designed to give your skin intense hydration and a radiant appearance. Which all sounds amazing, but does it really work!?
Let me just say, I never believed in magic until I tried this product. If I honestly had to choose only one product to use for the rest of my life, it would be this mask. I have never seen a product work so fast. I’m talking 10 minutes fast. Within minutes I watched my dry, tired, porous skin transform into a plump, smooth and healthy canvas. My skin actually has a glow from within when I wear this, which I only used to be able to achieve with highlighting products.
Here’s why I’m OBSESSED.
- It gives you results you can see, almost instantly.
- There isn’t a harsh smell. There is actually no smell to it.
- There are a lot of ways you can work this into your routine. You can leave it on for 10 mins, and then wipe it off with a tissue, or you can leave it on as a moisturizer.
- It’s safe to use under and around your eyes.
- I can get away with not using a primer. This preps my skin so much that I’m comfortable going right in with my foundation.
- It made my hungover self look like I went to the spa and got 10 hours of sleep.
- You can put it in the fridge for a refreshing feel.
- My skin has never felt so hydrated.
I have recommended this product to so many people already, including my mom! (So, you know it’s real π) I know the price tag is a little hefty at $48, but I promise you it’s an investment your skin will thank you for. It keeps selling out, so if you want to get your hands on it I recommend checking out Sephora and their website. It seems that the sites are restocking at opposing times.
xx,
Nicole
