I know everyone is saying it, but I truly can’t believe it’s time for Christmas, which means shopping and gift guides! I love putting stockings together for people, almost more than shopping for bigger gifts. It’s a way to tailor several small items to their interests. Plus, everything’s cuter in smaller sizes, right?!
Below is a list of tried and true products I recommend for the beauty lover in your life. I tried to think some products that aren’t already on Holiday gift guides. Also, these are totally affordable, and take the guess work out of shopping for a beauty lover, if you yourself are still learning the make up game. The image below is shoppable, so just click on the product you like, or you can check out the links below.
1 // Make up Wipes – What goes on must come off. These ponds ones are my favorite. They are really moist (sorry, had to!) and have a little bit of texture to them, so they’re perfect for taking off the day’s face.
2 // Hair Ties – Not just any hair ties. (Side note: Does anyone remember the shoe laces from elementary school that looked like this?) Anyways, every since I got my Bombshell Extensions, putting my hair up in a regular pony tail is no easy task. I was very skeptical about these at first, but they are AMAZING. They are the only thing I use to pull my hair back now.
3 // Beauty Blender – If they don’t already have one, they will thank you, and if they do, they will still thank you because that means less washing time. These are a staple in everyone’s make up bag, from beginner to expert.
4 // Wet Brush – This is basically the only brush I use now. Occasionally I use a round brush, but basically this is it. It doesn’t pull or rip your hair out, and great for thick hair or extensions.
5 // Cuticle Oil – Taking care of your cuticles is really important, especially this time of year. This oil brushes on just like a nail polish. I keep cuticle care at work and in my nightstand.
6 // Compact Travel Mirror – Perfect for touch-ups on-the-go. This one is especially nice because the mirror won’t get scratched, has two magnification levels and LED light. AKA the trifecta!
7 // Dry Shampoo – No one likes washing their hair, plain and simple. I can’t begin to tell you how many cans of this I’ve gone through. My hair gets oily easy so this is a staple for me, and the best one I’ve tried.
8 // Eyelash Multipack – You can’t go wrong with getting a make up lover this multipack of demi wispies. If I’m wearing fake lashes, you can almost guarantee it’s these.
9 // Highligher – Who doesn’t love to glow as bright as the star on the tree? This is the perfect affordable drugstore highlighter and works on a lot of skin tones.
10 // Face masks – Give the gift of pampering. You can get face masks at any price point and pretty much everywhere. If you know their skin type you can pick a mask suited to their needs, but if I recommended getting a hydrating or calming one.
Let me know what you hope to find in your stocking this year in the comments below!
