The Sephora Fall Beauty Insider Sale is here, and just in time for the holidays! I love to use this sale to stock up on my favorites, but also throw in a new items I’ve had my eye on. I actually like the fall sale better than spring because you can get the holiday gift sets. Gift sets are such a great way to try new products and make great gifts. You can also break them up and make new gifts. For example, get a hand cream and a lip balm gift set and give your friends or coworkers one of each.
SHOPPING TIPS:
- If you have a friend that is a higher status than you, ask them to order what you want, and Venmo them. It’s a win-win. They get more points and samples, and you get a deeper discount.
- If you want something, don’t wait to buy it. The most popular products do and will sell out.
- Use Ebates so you can earn a percentage of cash back on your order on top of the discount.

PRODUCT’S I’M LOVING
As many of you know, my skin has been very dry lately because of the Accutane so, I wanted to call out a few products that I’ve been loving lately in case you have a skin-type similar to me. Pre-Accutane, I was very oily so I’ve had to switch up my routine a bit. I’m still using a lot of the same products that I was, I’m just now working in more creams and illuminating products vs. mattifying. That being said, you can totally use these products if you have oily or combo skin too.
To help get rid of the dry skin, I’ve been using this exfoliator 1-2 times a week. It’s gentle enough for me to use on the medication and helps my makeup apply much better after using.
I’ve been loving this foundation for a full coverage and luminous look. I also used this when I was oily. I just used more powders.
When your skin is really dry, it tends to look dull and lifeless so to fake the hydration by adding some of this liquid highlighter to it my foundation. Sometimes I’ll use the liquid highlighter after my primer and before my foundation to give a lit-from-within type look.
If you love the full-coverage of Tarte’s Shape Tape, but want something a little more hydrating, try this concealer. You can also get it in dark shades and use for contouring.
This blush has been my go-to to bring some color and life back to my cheeks. It’s so radiant and the perfect pink-y shade.
Dry skin usually doesn’t take well to powders, but I still like to set my face, especially since I’m wearing a mask, so I’ve been using this powder, and it makes my skin look so airbrushed and healthy.
If you want long lashes you need this lash serum. You’re probably sick of me talking about it, but when I find something that really works, I need to shout it! It works so much better for me than Latisse did, and it’s a fraction of the price.
