Sign up for your favorite brand’s email list. A lot of times they will have sales that retailers like Sephora and Ulta won’t. This especially rings true for some of the luxury beauty brands.
Take Advantage of Semi-Annual Sales
When a % off everything sale comes around, I use it as my time to stock up on my favorite products or items I’ve been eying. Yes, you’re spending a chunk of money at one time, but I like to strategize what I’m going to run out of before the next sale comes around.
Ulta Rewards
Once I hit Rouge status for the year at Sephora, if Ulta sells the same product, I give Ulta my business over Sephora. Reason being that Ulta’s reward program earns you cash off your purchase, rather than free samples.
Ebates
It might sound like a crazy scam considering Ebates literally give you cash back for places you shop online, but it’s really not. I pay attention to days that retailers are offering higher commissions. Ebates send you a check each quarter with the commission you’ve made.
Subscription Boxes
Signing up for a subscription box is a great way to get great products for a discount. While it might not be full size, it does give you the chance to try some expensive products before fully committing. I’ve had a great experience with Sephora’s Play Box, which is only $10/month.
Honey
Honey is an amazing free browser plugin that searches the web for coupon codes and automatically applies them to our cart. It saves me so much money with codes I didn’t even know existed, not to mention time by not hopelessly trying codes I’ve Googled.
Buy Value Sets
Value sets are a great way to get full size products for a better price. Value sets are some of my favorite things to pick up, and brands usually put out their best sets around the holidays.
